Is the Al Hirschfeld Theatre equipped with Assisted devices?

The Al Hirschfeld Theatre offers D-Scriptive devices, I-Caption devices, audio induction neck loops, and infrared headsets. If an assistive device would help you enjoy the show, please visit the headset booth in the lobby corridor. These devices are provided free of charge. To reserve a device, contact Sound Associates at [email protected] or (212) 757-5679. Additionally, foreign language captioning is available in Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Japanese, Mandarin, and Korean by downloading the free GalaPro app.

 

Do you offer ticket protection?

For a worry free ticket purchase, you may opt into the ATG Tickets US Ticket Refund Program to obtain a refund should you be unable to make it to your event for the reasons set out in the Program. For just a fraction of the cost of your tickets, you will be able to recoup 100% of the paid ticket price and pre-ordered concessions (including fees) if you are unable to make it to your event, in accordance with the Ticket Refund Program. Any refund will be managed by Secure My Booking on behalf of ATG Tickets US. Simply opt in to the ticket refund program during your online ticket purchase. How young does my child have to be to get in for free?

The Al Hirschfeld Theatre requires every individual who enters the theatre to have a purchased ticket. “Lap Seats,” or free tickets for small children who wish to watch the show from an adults lap, are not available. Our box office can assist in finding appropriate seating for a child. Children under 5 will not be admitted to the theatre.

 

Can I check luggage, coats, umbrellas, etc. at the theatre?

The coat check is located 1 flight down from the Orchestra level. The charge is $3 per item.

 

Are photos and/or videos allowed in the theatre?

The use of recording devices of any kind is strictly prohibited inside the theatre during the performance.

 

Where are my seats?

Orchestra and Can-Can Table Seating is located on the main floor of the theatre. Mezzanine seating is located on the 2nd level, up 27 steps from the Orchestra. On the Mezzanine level, there are approximately 2 steps up/down per row. There are no elevators or escalators at the theatre. All stairs to and in the Mezzanine level have handrails.

 

What to wear?

While some theatregoers do get dressed up for their visit to our theatres, you are welcome to wear what makes you most comfortable. Keep in mind that our theatres are kept cool year-round, so you may want to bring a sweater.

 

Is there WiFi?

Connect to the internet using the network -AH_Guest_WIFI- for better service within the theatre.

 

Are there concessions? 

Drinks and snacks can be purchased at the bars on each level of the theatre. Please bring concessions to your seat to enjoy.

 

Where are the restrooms?

The Women’s restroom is located 1 flight down from the Orchestra level, and the Men’s restroom is on the Mezzanine level. There is an accessible, single-stall, all-gender restroom on the Orchestra level. We encourage you to use the restroom that best fits your gender identity or expression.

 

Can I purchase merchandise?

Merchandise is available for purchase on the Orchestra and Mezzanine levels before curtain and during intermission. After the show, merchandise can be purchased on the Orchestra level.
