Safety & Security

Your safety is our highest concern. Doors will open approximately 40 minutes prior to show time, so please arrive early and leave plenty of time for security screening. All bags are subject to inspection and all guests will go through a metal detector before entering the Al Hirschfeld Theatre.

Code of Conduct

The Al Hirschfeld Theatre is committed to creating a safe and enjoyable entertainment experience. By entering this theatre, you agree to the following code of conduct:

  • Guests will refrain from taking photos and videos of the production.

  • Guests will comply with bag searching procedures should they be approached by venue security. Large bags will be required to be checked at coat check.

  • Guests will sit only in their ticketed seats and must show their tickets when requested.

  • Guests will not be permitted to smoke or vape in the theatre at any time.

  • Guests will consume alcoholic beverages in a responsible manner. Intervention with an impaired guest will be handled in a prompt and safe manner.

  • Guests will comply with requests from venue staff regarding facility operations and emergency response procedures.

  • All persons entering the theatre, regardless of age, must have a ticket.

Prohibited Items

No weapons of any kind, including firearms, knives, tasers, mace, and pepper spray, are allowed. Additionally, personal alarms, glass bottles/containers, lighters, bikes, e-bikes, e-scooters, illegal substances, and alcohol are not permitted. Theatre Management reserves the right to prohibit other items as deemed necessary.

Health Measures

The Al Hirschfeld Theatre ventilation systems are enhanced with MERV13 filters, and rigorous cleaning and sanitation protocols are in place. 

If you test positive for COVID-19, please do not come to the theatre, and call 888-959-1873 for assistance.
